“After making the decision to seek employment in a field that was completely foreign to me, I had to really sit back and evaluate my strengths and values. This was my chance to choose what I wanted to do for a job as opposed to always doing what I was asked to do.
I engaged Julie’s services to work with me on a professional level to help me identify the brand I needed to create, that was attractive to a potential employer whilst remaining true to ‘me’. How I saw myself and how others did were often not in the same ball park I was quick to learn!
Through seeking feedback from trusted friends and past Managers we were able to identify what I was great at and where I needed to improve. From there Julie helped package ‘me’ up. This wasn’t easy as I was set in my ways. I had to hold myself accountable and bring about a change I was comfortable with and attractive to others.
I am pleased to say I have gone from a brand that was created through being emotional ( over many years and experiences ) to a now heavily respected brand of ‘me’. I have also grown as person in profession which has lead to people approaching me for contract work. I now find people also seek out my very valued opinion.
I am very happy where I am, what I do and prepared for what is next!
